So you'll have noticed that there has been a lul in the news about training. Numerous good intentions and newly started triaining plans have gone out of the window. My intentions to run while in Norway were ruined by icy roads and since then I've moved house!!
I don't want you go get the wrong idea, it's not that I've been lazy but that I have so many things to do and I don't want to run instead of walking, climbing, swimming, scouting etc.
Last week however I got some good advice from Beth, basically why not use running as a mode of transport, whenever possible run instead of taking the car.
So that's what I'm aiming to do, on Good Friday when invited to Mum and Dad's fror lunch I ran there (for those of you who know how close that live you shoud know I took a long way round), 3 miles running all the way.
Tonight I'm running to the baths for my swim so the running is well and truly underway :) Here's hoping that this is the key to my training success.
